Most common fault on a Dead Laptop

Mr Sorin…eroul meu 😁😁😁
I have dropped a screw on my laptop motherboard and it sparked. Now my laptop is dead, is there a chance this laptop can be back to life? my laptop model is asus vivobook 14 x411uf. This was an amazing vid anw. It gave me hope
So what was the most common fault on a Dead Laptop? A defective mosfet?
I really love your teaching Sir.. I can now repair my laptops.. thank you very much
can you make a video for chromebook HP G6 EE dead mother board please
New to your channel, love the help I get from them! Thank you so much
Nice video! I only wish I'd come across it sooner. I like the guy's no nonsense approach. He quickly tracks down the issue, and solves it without fuss. I also like the way he's thinking about his customers, and his primary concern is to help them, rather than to make as much out of them as he can. I wish we had people like that where I live!
WOW, what a butcher… He removed what he perceived to be a bad MOSFET, and replaced it with a SOLDER BLOB dragged out between a couple pads… Didn't use a speck of FLUX, and poking around on the board with metal tools, at the same time stating "…i do not care about which way the voltage goes, but the laptop now works…" Let's just button it back up, and put any leftover screws in a little baggie for the customer, and hope his/her house doesn't burn to the ground…
REALLY??? And all you people think he's "AMAZING"??? WTF??? Better open your eyes, people…

That watch is awesome
Thank . Video repair laptop very good.
Does it survive charging an empty battery and full power CPU usage? Better check that "fuse" at rated Amperage. Else this customer will be there again the next day or never because he's tossing out the notebook or choosing another repair shop.
thank you very much sir ..im oliver from southern philippines
Thank you so much. You are a genius! I did it to my Toshiba and it came back to life!!!. It was a bit tricky to remove the chip though without the hot air tool but I managed. Seems like there was a lot of varnish on the board and chip which melted when I used my soldering iron.
Thank you very much! I did fixed one laptop just by watching your video! Looking forward to learn from you, from a-z 🙂
New subscriber thanks for the lesson
I am wondering that you can leave the mosfet off the board …
Your are knowledgeable and very pleasant to watch .
God bless you.thank you
Regarding weather or not this is shoddy… it depends on the promised service. Is the repair to make it 1) "work" 2) achieve "like-new" condition 3) analyze root cause and prevent repeat. If it is transparent that 1 is the service being offered, then I guess you can call it done. If 2 or 3 are the promised and/or implied service, then this could be called shoddy. 2 would require replacing the mosfet, 3 could be extensive and could include modifications even improving on the original board design.
