I have tried all your Arduino codes but no posts appear in LCD, why?
Mine do not show anything any ideas??
Very interesting and informative video. I have learnt a lot from this and now I will put it into action . Thanks again
Hi there, i know a trustworthy service to raise your views naturally for thousend is at 1.52 so the service is called RazorViews
Give me a error because the "lcd.begin();"
no matching function for call to 'LiquidCrystal_I2C::begin()'
Great explanation thank you.
Good tutorial try to make it for 12864 lcd with gpio expander
Best explanation and demo ever
Sir, I have, need 3second delay before lcd.clear();
Using millis function
Thanks for this video as always.
good wxplaination, continue this spirit
Dear Robojax
i have connected a 2004 lcd i2c to an arduino nano and you have adjusted the programe so that all text on (0, 0) and (0,1) etc. problem is now that the first two lines go well.
for the third and fourth lines (0,2) and (0,3) the text starts on the fifth digit
can you help me what goes wrong here
Best regards. BW van Bennekom
My backlights are not on, and I am not getting any text to display across the screen. How do I fix this error?
Perfect video!!! Tks
How can you display Other language other thank English ??
Thank you it is work fine
Mr. your backlight pin connection is opposite,
Hi!
Thank you very much for posting this video.
I keep getting a "avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding" error, which makes me unable to upload. The wiring is ok, and the libraries including the code has been downloaded correctly.
Do you have any Idea what it could be?
..Do you have a clue for big font for either 1602/2004 that use 2 x 2 to display a letter or a number,,example : for CLOCK with time full displaying 02:35:23AM the whole 1602 lcd …meaning the 1st hours takes up 4c x2r..next,,seperator takes 1cx2r, minutes takes 4cx2r, than separator 1cx2r, second takes another 4cx2r…finally normal font AM/PM on the balance 2cx2r = 16column x 2row…it should work on non-i2c LCD Keypad ..where 1st button rotatates mode to adjust from H-M-S-AM/PM while up/down button adjust those number ,simple old-school manual sync method..with the help of those second counting crystal oscilloscope on UNO.
Can you make the video with this stuff without I2C?
This works for me.
Thank you so much.
That's a PFC8574 I2C
We are planning to have a 16×4 display showing cnc coordinates from cnc shield. We want to know how to connect CNC shield , arduino and the display so it displays x, y and z coordinates. We also need some help with the programming. Thank you in advance.
I respect your work, but there are some mistakes you have made, some coding doesn't work and it cost me lots of time to fix it.
I downloaded your library and uploaded your custom sketch, it displays the correct info, but the display flickers more and more on each line, the fourth line flickers so much that it is almost unreadable, can you please help, thanks.
i have wired my display as you directed display back light is on but no letters are displayed i tried turning the potentiometer but still no letters not sure what i am missing this is a new purchase so i have not used it before : this is what i purchased —
Blue Serial IIC/I2C/TWI 2004 204 20X4 Character LCD Module Display For Arduino
what am i missing ???
Thank You

R.J, thanks very much for all inputs, I have general questions abut Arduinos, doesn't Arduinos get full after each time too many different codes uploaded to board? Do we need clear out every other time the uploaded codes? How? because I'm planning to come up with a Code that Arduino be able read UDP receive from my simulator for each gauge, I know by receiving all these data a lots of codes will transfer from Flight Simulator to Arduino. I watched lots of videos abut this Popular "X-Plane 11" ( flight simulator ) but still couldn't find any solution. Regards
Wow… RJ that was a lot… awesome !! Thumbs up it is very interesting LCD and big ; dear RJ, are multiply LCDs allowed on one Arduino? or each LCD requires individual Arduinos and Codes on it's own? Probably I need to provide more Arduous and more LCDs, besides I need to learn a lot to make all my little LCDs work each one as an individual gauge for my Cockpit of Flight- Simulator
