I think my lock is broken
I could only vaguely remember my combination and I just kept getting it wrong. Just by watching the first part of your video and following your steps for determining the first number of the combination, I realized I had had my numbers reversed and voila! I was able to open my lock! Thank you so much for this video, you really helped me out.

This worked great! I would add that if the lock opens but is a little rough, you should adjust your numbers independently up or down by 1 until the lock opens easily.
